Our colleague and friend Jim Walsh was recognised by the PR Consultants Association (PRCA) (Ireland) at an awards ceremony in the prestigious Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. Our director Ellen Gunning was honoured to attend.
Jim received the very first ever PRCA Hall of Fame Award as the inaugural inductee. PRCA Chair Brian Harrison said: “His four-decade career reflects a deep and enduring commitment to the public relations profession in Ireland and a lasting contribution to its growth and excellence”.
This is well deserved recognition for a founder of the PR Consultants Association (PRCA), a past-president of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII(, a former president of the international association of independent PR consultancies (IPREX), current executive chairman of Walsh PR and a major force in the life of public relations in Ireland and internationally. Congratulations Jim!
