Our director Ellen Gunning serves on the European Editorial Board of Pulse Z, a journalism initiative for young people. She recently attended the PulseZ Festival in Brussels, Belgium.
140 aspiring young journalists from across Europe came together to share tables at which they formed news teams which were tasked with creating stories about topics like Financial Literacy, Democracy in Europe, AI & Journalism…..and they were brilliant.
They learned to identify the skillsets of others at the table so that they could best apportion roles and responsibilities, and, crucially, they learned to pull together to get the job done. They created text stories, videos and audio interviews of extraordinary quality. The future of journalism looks very bright!
